Charles Edward Walker

Charles Edward Walker was born September 16, 1938 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Vernest and Gladys Thompson Walker. He was united in marriage to Pamela Sue Bridges on June 12, 2021. Mr. Walker was a factory worker at Hickory Hills Manufacturing in Clifton, TN and was a member of the Friendship Baptist in Waynesboro, TN. He departed this life on July 31, 2022 in Savannah, TN at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 15 days.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Sue Bridges Walker and a sister, Billie Thompson and husband James, both of Waynesboro, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by a daughter, Telisa Lynn Walker McNeese; two brothers, Willard Walker and James Carmin "J.C." Walker; and three sisters, Mary McClain, Betty Jo Carrington, and Edith Burns.

Graveside services will be Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1 pm at Walker Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN with John Blackwell and Brant Sanders officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be Monday, August 8, 2022 from 12 noon until service time at Walker Cemetery.
