Charles Webb Vestal

CHARLES WEBB VESTAL

was born in Madison County, Tennessee on September 24, 1923 the son of the late Hubert and Maudie Mae Perry Vestal.

Mr. Vestal was united in marriage to Mary Blanche Cummings, who preceded her husband in death. Later, he was united in marriage to Mary Joyce Vestal, who also preceded him in death.

Mr. Vestal was a retired machine operator for Owens-Corning Fiberglass. He was a resident of Hardin County for 18 years and he attended Church of God in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Mr. Vestal enjoyed spending time with his dog, Spunky.

He departed this life on March 27, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 3 days.

Mr. Vestal is survived by his children, Barbara Jean (Hall) Stricklin and her husband Thomas of Savannah, Tennessee and Donna Sue Clayton and her husband Steve of Henderson, Tennessee.

Mr. Vestal was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Robert, Curtis and Howard Vestal and five sisters, Maudie Mae, Mattie Lou, Jessie Louise, Sarah Kathleen and Carrie Blondell.
