Charles Edward Tidwell

Charles E. Tidwell was born October 20, 1927 in Stantonville, Tennessee the son of the late George Claudus and Ulma Smith Tidwell.On November 28, 1949, he was united in marriage to Christine Plunk who preceded him in death on January 22, 2008.Mr. Tidwell was a salesman for Long Wholesale Company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from August 1946 until August 1949. He was also a member of the American Legion.Mr. Tidwell departed this life on October 18, 2010 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 11 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by two daughters, Myra Hazard of Adamsville, TN and Mary Stoll and husband Andrew of Kennesaw, GA; and five granddaughters, Jessica Hazard, Stephanie Hazard, Casey Stoll, Caitlin Stoll, and Kristen Stoll.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by two brothers, G. C. Tidwell and Harvey Tidwell.
