Charles Allen (Goodtime Charlie) Thompson
was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on October 4, 1962, the son of the late J.B. and Kaye Thompson.
On April 17, 1981 he married the former Mary Lynda Jones, who survives.
Mr. Thompson was a truck driver for Turnbow Farms. He loved hunting and driving truck. He loved his wife and children.
Mr. Thompson departed this life on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the age of 45 years, 5 months, 11 days.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Neil Allen Thompson and his wife Donna Denise of Adamsville, Tennessee, Jessie Wayne Thompson also of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Patricia King of Jackson, Tennessee, Margie Moffett of Selmer, Tennessee; 2 brothers: Norman Thompson of Savannah, Tennessee, Robert Thompson of Adamsville, Tennessee;
father-in-law: Neil Jones; mother-in-law: Christine Jones;
10 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons: Joel Thompson and Steven Thompson; 1 brother: William Calvin Thompson.
