Charles S. Surratt

Charles S. Surratt was born March 22, 1931 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Logan Charles and Myrtle Sewell Surratt.He was united in marriage to Rebecca Elam. Mr. Surratt was a truck driver for 45 years of those he was employed 34 years at Arkansas Best Frieght, a member of the Stantonville United Methodist Church, member of the Masons, Teamsters Union, Rurtian Club, Cattlemans Association, and American Legion.Mr. Surratt departed this life on November 8, 2008 at his home in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 7 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Elam Surratt of Stantonville, TN; a daughter, Nancy Surratt Davis and husband, Darrell of Stantonville, TN.In addition to his parents, Mr. Surratt was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Carroll Surratt; two sisters, Willie Jo Hardin and Bernice Sewell.
