Charles (Charlie) Lawson Majors of Modesto, died on August 16, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. He was 88.
A World War II Veteran and POW, Charlie moved to Modesto in the late 80's an dwas employed as the inventory control manager for the Ferry-Moose Seed Company where he retired from in the early 90's.
Charlie joined the Geneva Presbyterian Church-Modesto in 1989 where he served as a n Elder and was involved in the Christian Education ministry because of his love for children.
He is survived by his niece, Marcia Hite of El Paso, TX along with many caregivers, friends, and children that grew to love him dearly.
