Charles "Pedo" Holder

Charles "Pedo" Holder was born on April 25, 1947 in Clifton, Tennessee, the son of the late Hugh Oscar and Ollie Pauline Walker Holder. On October 31, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Pevahouse, who survives.

Mr. Holder served his country from November 1968 to November 1970 in the United States Army. He retired after 42 years from Crounse Corp. where he was employed as a towboat pilot. "Pedo" loved his horses and enjoyed gardening.

Charles Holder departed this life in Clifton, Tennessee on February, 27, 2016 at the age of 68 years, 10 months, 2 days.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Holder of Clifton, Tennessee; 2 sons, Craig Holder and Colby Holder, and his wife Tish, all of Clifton, Tennessee; 3 brothers, James Floyd Holder of Manchester, Tennessee, Jesse Brown Holder of LaGrange, Illinois, and Johnny Holder of Clarksville, Tennessee; 1 sister, Doris Fay Holder of Clifton, Tennessee; and his first grandchild due in May.

Services will be held on March 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, Tennessee, with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery at Clifton, Tennessee
