Charles Edwin Harmon

CHARLES EDWIN HARMONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 30, 1938 the son of the late Edwin and Blanche Scott Harmon. On December 23, 1963 he was united in marriage to the former Marie Landreth, who preceded her husband in death.Mr. Harmon was a truck driver for Hassell Oil Company. He was a United States Army Veteran. He received the Good Conduct Medal and commendations for expert rifle-man on the M-14. Mr. Harmon was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.He departed this life on March 19, 2007 at the Savannah Health Care in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 19 days.Mr. Harmon is survived by one son, Timothy Charles Harmon of Lancaster, California.one step-daughter, Deborah Kay Reed of Russellville, Alabama.2 step-grandsons, one step-granddaughter and one step-great-grandchild2 brothers, Wallace Harmon of Savannah, Tennessee and Floyd Harmon of Goshen, Indiana.one sister, Inez Jackson of Hammond, Indiana.many nieces and nephewsMr. Harmon was also preceded in death by one brother, Loyd Harmon.
