Charles Ray Faulkner

Charles Ray Faulkner was born November 1, 1935 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Homer and Myrtice Brooks Faulkner.He was united in marriage to Lurene Porter on April 28, 1959.Mr. Faulkner was a logger, farmer, and factory worker for all of his working life. He was Baptist in faith, and enjoyed taking wagon rides with his grandchildren and riding his Kubota utility vehicle. He also loved tending to his animals. Mr. Faulkner departed this life on March 2, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lurene Faulkner of Ramer, TN; two sons, Jeff Faulkner and wife Merlene of Henderson, TN and Norman Faulkner and wife Cheryl of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Anita Watson and Lisa Hunt, both of Corinth, MS; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Wayne Faulkner and wife Wanda and Lee Faulkner, all of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Betty Pearson and Martha Sells, both of Streamwood, IL; and a host of extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Faulkner was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Faulkner, and another brother who died in infancy.
