Charles Dee Ashe

Charles Dee Ashe was born May 25, 1934 in Stantonville, TN, the son of the late Jim and Cora Ashe. He departed this life on August 16, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 2 Months, 22 Days.
Charles was united in marriage to Martha Bess Locke on August 11, 1956. Mrs. Ashe preceded him in death on March 22, 2019.
He was a member of the Union Grove United Methodist Church. Over the years Charles had worked for Brown Shoe Company, General Electric and had a landscaping/mowing business for many years before retiring. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and watching old westerns on TV.
Mr. Ashe is survived by a son, David Ashe and wife Cathy of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Steven Ashe and wife Morgan of Corinth, MS, Chelsey Schueller and husband Colin of Selmer, TN; four great grandchildren: Tyler Ashe, Addilyn Ashe, Levi Ashe, Lucy Schueller; a brother, Jerry Neal Ashe of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Ashe was preceded in death by four brothers: Estel, Ethel, Hubert and Robert Ashe; sister, Johnnie Ashe; sister-in-law Margie Ashe.
