Cemon D. Rich

Services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, with Barry Sells, Greg Eaton, Jerry Robbins and Marvin Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery , Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 3, from 2:00 pm until service time at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Cypress Inn, TN



Mr. Rich departed this life on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 6 Months, 11 Days.

He was born June 22, 1926 in Wayne County, Tennessee the son of the late Dave Monroe and Gertie Thelma Holt Rich. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rich was preceded in death by wife; Emmojean Risner Rich; son, Randy Gene Rich; brothers, Hoover Rich and, Ross Rich; sister, Evelyn Vickery





He served in the Army during WWII and was saved and baptized at Calvary Baptist in August of 2005 by Bro.Jerry Robbins. Mr Rich was a farmer and retired watchman at Hassell and Hughes.



He is survived by ;daughters, Betty Tatum of Waynesboro, TN, Brenda Rich of Cypress Inn, TN, and Vickie Butler of Lawrenceburg, TN;

sons, Larry Rich of Leoma, TN, David Rich of Cypress Inn, TN, Gary Rich of Nunnelly, TN, Harlan Rich and Ricky Rich both of Collinwood, TN;



23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren



brothers, Warren Rich of Cypress Inn, TN and Harl Rich of Florence, AL;

sister, Lorene McFall of Collinwood, TN;
