was born November 30, 1934 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Albert F. and Gladys Whitson Schmittou. Mrs. Tidwell was a retired factory office worker. She was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
She departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 20 Days and was cremated.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:00 PM at her home at 1798 Moccasion Creek Road in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
She is survived by a daughter, Catherine (Berresheim) Randall and husband, Barclay, Sr., of Old Hickory, TN; three sons, Robert Albert Berresheim and wife, Linda, of Waynesboro, TN, Thomas Anthony Hadden and wife, Bobbi, of Nashville, TN, Samuel Asa Hadden of Waynesboro, TN; two brothers, Thomas W. Schmittou of Hohenwald, TN, Albert C. Schmittou of Gallatin, TN; two sisters, Caroline Nixon of Scahle, WA, Betty Daughtery of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Theresa Lee Hadden, Joshua Allan Berresheim, Tony Hadden, Garrett Randall, Abbey Randall, Barclay Randall, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jorden and Mason Hadden; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by a son, William Allan Berresheim and a sister, Ida Schmittou.
