Cecil Gladys Johnson

Mrs. Johnson was born and reared in Batesville, MS the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rosa Brooks Ferrell. She attended schools in Batesville and attended 2 years at Mississippi State College for Women at Columbus, MS. She was married to Kenneth Vernon Johnson and they made their home at Enville all their married life where Mr. Johnson farmed. Mr. Johnson died in 1982 and Mrs. Johnson continued to live at Enville until she moved to Cheyenne Trace Assisted Living in Jackson in 2001. She was a member of the Enville United Methodist Church.



She is survived by four daughters; Jane Campbell, Linda Jarrett, Brenda Goodman(Bill) all of Jackson and Roselyn Seaton of Franklin and a son Bryant Johnson (Carol) of South Haven, MS. She also has 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.



She was also preceded in death by a daughter Joyce Djerf in 1977.
