Catherine Griffin
was born in Rhea County, Tennessee on July 31, 1925 the daughter of the late Charles Oscar and Artie Knight Dillard.
On January 17, 1948 she was united in marriage to Raymond Griffin, who preceded her in death on November 27, 1995. Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and attended Liberty Methodist Church.
She departed this life on February 21, 2007 at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 21 days.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by two grandsons: Jeff Griffin and his wife, April, and Joel Griffin; one great-grandchild, Bekha Griffin; one brother, Billy Dillard of Dayton, Tennessee and one sister, Margaret Wilson of Gailsburg, Michigan.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Ray Griffin; two brothers: Knight Dillard and Newton Dillard and two sisters: Alverene Northcutt and Topsy Shipley.
