Cassie Hannis, 92, of Bolivar, died Sunday evening, March 20, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of Robert C. Hannis, who died November 10, 1995 after 61 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Hannis was born May 18, 1912, in Sullivan County, Tenn, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lillie Elizabeth Arnold Stewart and moved to Bolivar in 1934. She was an active member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, teaching bible school, hosting church activities in her home and singing in the church choir until she was 90 years old.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Shackelford's chapel in Bolivar with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Bolivar.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Pulse and her husband, Don of Bolivar; one sister, Marie Brown of Abington, Virginia; three
grandsons, Anthony Pulse and his wife Cybil, Todd Pulse and Josh
Pulse and his wife Lisa, all of Bolivar and two great grandchildren,
Peyton and Payne Pulse.
