Casen Wayne McClain was born July 31, 2013 at 3:50 am in Nashville, Tennessee to Matthew Daniel and Suzanne Marie Franks McClain of Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee.

Casen departed this life on July 31, 2013 at 5:57 am at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee after a brief life of 2 hours and 7 minutes.

Other than his parents, Casen is survived by a sister, Mattie Kay McClain; a brother, Wyatt Alexander McClain both of the home; Maternal grandparents, Sam and Martha Franks of Waynesboro, TN; Paternal grandparents, Randy and Sharon McClain of Lawrenceburg, TN; Maternal great-grandmothers, Elsie Berry of Cypress Inn, TN and Sarah Franks of Clifton, TN; Paternal great-grandmothers, Osa McClain of Waynesboro, TN and Lois Crews of Lawrenceburg, TN; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Casen was preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Nola Berry, James William Franks, Calvin Crews, and Rex McClain.

A graveside service will be on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 3:30 pm at the Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee with Cal Hampton and Kerry Franks officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Highland United Methodist Church.
