Carter V. White

Carter V. White, 73, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, November 5 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.Born February 25, 1935 to the late Herchel and Laura Phillips White, he was married to Alice Lowe on February 24, 1956. Mr. White served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1957 and was a member of the Midway Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was an ordained minister and a bank officer for First National Bank in Memphis. He had lived in Lincoln, Nebraska as well as Memphis and Whiteville, TN.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul White and Rex White and wife Kelly, both of San Francisco, CA; one daughter, Cherie Wynne and husband David of Middleton; three granddaughters, Candace and Emily Wynne, and Christina White; one grandson, Wesley Wynne; one step-granddaughter Liana Yau; one great granddaughter KyLee Perrine; two brothers, Jerry White of Middleton and Gene White of Whiteville.
