CARRIE MAE (GRANNY) PIPESwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 8, 1940 the daughter of the late Martin and Ida Mae Price.Ms. Pipes was a homemaker. She loved sewing, flowers, gardening and loved to sing.Ms. Pipes departed this life on December 20, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 years and 12 days.She is survived by her children, Bobby Pipes, Sherry Johnson, James Pipes, Tommy Pipes, Troy Pipes, Tanya Ferrell and Mary Jo Pipes Smith, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Teresa Born of Shiloh, Tennessee13 grandchildren, Bobby Neill, Terry Smith, Michael Smith, Glen Smith, Joey Smith, Dorris Pipes, Johnny Pipes, Zachory Pipes, Matthew Hunt, Michelle Presley, Lillian Ferrell, Kelly Mae Pipes Smith and Andrea Presley14 great grandchildren, Haley Davis, Jason Smith, Stephen Smith, Tanner Smith, Casey Smith, Dallas Smith, Jathan Smith, Adriyana Smith, Cayden Hunt, Emma Hunt, Ashton Presley, Allie Presley, Carston Doyle and Jaythen JohnsonIn addition to her parents , she was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Price and one great grandchild, Chasity Brooke Smith.
