Carrie Willie Davis

Carrie Willie Riley Evans Davis of Clifton, TN was born January 31, 1932 in Perry County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Samuel Ottis and Mary Elizabeth Dedrick Riley. She was united in marriage to James Henry Evans who preceded her in death on February 15, 1980. She later married Clemon Davis and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2006.

Ms Carrie Willie was a retired machine operator and a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church in Clifton, TN. She enjoyed baking pies and everyone always looked forward to getting one.

Ms Carrie Willie departed this life on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 10 Months, 7 Days.

She is survived by stepsons, Larry Davis, wife, Linda and Jerry Davis, wife, Debbie and stepdaughter, Linda Patterson, husband, Jim, all of Savannah, TN; four step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild; nephews, Randy Boyd, Tana Gregory of Clifton, TN, Jason Boyd, wife, Kim of Spring Hill, TN and Ricky Wheat, wife, Debbie and Jerry Wheat all of Clifton, TN; niece, Sherri Groom, husband, Randy of Linden, TN and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by sisters, Lona Marie Riley Wheat and Emma Louise Riley Boyd and one step-grandchild.

Services will be Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Riverside United Methodist Church, Clifton, Tennessee, with Josh Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at the church.
