Carrie Marie Brown

Carrie Marie Brown was born November 1, 1929 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Brodie and Minnie Inman Smallwood.She was united in marriage to Samuel K. Brown who preceded her in death on May 24, 1993.Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She was retired from Garan Sportwear in Adamsville and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church.She departed this life on September 26, 2006 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 10 Months, 25 Days. Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Kay Privett and husband Michael and Penny R. Bearden and husband Michael D.; two sons, Roger Lee Brown and Michael W. Brown all of Adamsville, Tennessee; one sister, Mary Wilson of Memphis, Tennessee; six brothers, Bill Smallwood, Lewis Smallwood, Wayne Smallwood, Harold Smallwood all of Arkansas, Raymond Smallwood of Rockford, Illinois, and Joel Smallwood also of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Shelley Chesney and Paige Gibbins both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Candace D. Rickman of Selmer, Tennessee, Michael F. Bearden, Samantha R. Bearden, and Brandon S. Brown all of Adamsville, Tennessee and 8 great grandchildren.
