Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Revival Center in Clifton, Tennessee, with Shayne Riley and Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Methodist Church Cemetery , Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Monday, October 13 from 6:--9:00 pm and on Tuesday, October 14, 9:00 am until service time at Revival Center, Clifton,TN



Mrs. Battles departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at her residence in Clifton, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days. She was born December 14, 1939 in Clifton, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jessie Roy and Grace Ray Tate. Mrs. Sue was preceded in death also by a sister; Dorothy Tate.



Mrs. Battles was a Teacher Aide at Frank Hughes School. She was a member of the Revival Center in Clifton, Tennessee.



She was united in marriage to Billy Joe Battles on July 2, 1957.



She is survived by her husband; Billy Joe Battles, Clifton,TN



daughter, Cindy Boyd of Clifton, TN; son, Jeff Battles and wife Tracy of Savannah, TN;



grandchildren; Cara (Jack) Billman; Daniel Boyd; Cade Battles and Cale Battles.
