Carolyn Bailey Taylor departed this life on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 24 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 26, 1944, the daughter of the late Felix Andrew and Clara Belle Haynes Bailey. On September 12, 1964, she was united in marriage to Frank Taylor, who survives.
Carolyn had worked at Brown Shoe Company for 10 years as a seamer. She took courses at Crump Vocational School and went to work at ASCS. She was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband of 54 years, Frank Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee, Carolyn is survived by her sons, Hollis Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee and Malcolm Taylor of LaVergne, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kelsey Abel, Dakarai Muse, Antray Terrell Morrow, Antrean Morrow, Hollis Andrew Taylor; great grandchild, Kinsley Abel; sister, Bobbie Robinson of Savannah, Tennessee; and brothers, Larry Bailey of Savannah, Tennessee and Johnnie Bailey of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Along with her parents, she Carolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Taylor and sisters, Myrtle Dixon and Susan Harris.
