Carolyn Ann Jordan, age 68 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed from this life Monday night, March 16, 2015 at her sister's home in White Bluff, Tennessee.
A lifelong native of Hardeman County, she was born on Sunday, November 10, 1946 to the late Ulysses Talmadge and Ida William Knipper Jordan. She worked at Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar for almost 45 years, retiring as the Director of Medical Records. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bolivar, and enjoyed many things in her life, including playing games, using her tablet, and traveling all around the United States.
Survivors include her sister, Charlene Jordan Mills and husband Dale of White Bluff; nieces, Barbara Sanders Reszel and husband Jim of Camden, Angela Dixon and husband John of Kingston Springs, Helen Henson Rowland and husband Jerry of Henderson, and Beth Snider Ueleke and husband Brian of Germantown; and nephews, Steve Sanders and wife Courtney of Doniphan, Missouri, Joey Sanders of Camden, Bobby Mills of Hardeeville, South Carolina, David Mills and wife Tracey of Greenwood, Indiana, and Lynn Henson and wife Gaye of Whiteville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Sanders Snider Davis, and Ivy Lee Henson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville, Avalon Hospice, or to the donor's choice of charities.
