Carolyn Hensley

Carolyn Hensley was born January 12, 1945 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Isaac Parmely and Ilene Littlejohn Parmely.

She was united in marriage to Russell Harold Hensley on November 9, 1968. She was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Ramer, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, flowering, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Hensley departed this life on March 9, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 1 Month, 25 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Hensley; a daughter, Paige Hensley Smith; a son, Nathan Hensley all of Ramer, TN; five grandchildren: Amelia Lambert and husband Jared, Marcus Hensley, Brandon Hensley, Sydney Smith, and Luke Smith; a great grandchild, Josiah Lambert; a sister, Mary Thacker of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Bennie and James Parmely both of Selmer, TN; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by a son, Jason Hensley; two sisters, Katheryn Adkins and Betty Sue Saxton; and three brothers: David, Bill and Bobby Parmely.
