Carolyn Jean Brown Green
was born in Jones, Alabama on April 17, 1936 the daughter of the late Thomas Foster and Julia Louise Meroney Brown.
On June 6, 1984 she was united in marriage to Carl Green, who preceded his wife in death.
Carolyn worked as a housekeeper and also an a CNA. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Carolyn was a resident of Harbert Hills Academy Nursing Home since July 29, 2002, where she was loved and well cared for. Many of them became like her family.
Carolyn departed this life on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 3 days.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Wint of Savannah, Tennessee and Barbara Thomas of Jones, Alabama; grandchildren, Travis Thomas of Jones, Alabama, Shyanne Inman of Jones, Alabama, Levi Wint of Savannah, Tennessee, and Eli Wint of Savannah, Tennessee; great grandchild, Tatum Pugh of Jones, Alabama; and sister, Sandra G. Lee of Jones, Alabama.
In addition to her parents and her husband Carl Green, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilburn Thomas; sisters, Juanita Sheperd and Dorthy Downing; and brother, Thomas E. Brown.
