Henderson, TN: Carolyn Jean Tubbs Glidewell, age 67, died May 26, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born in Madison County, the daughter of the late Burless and Vera Alline Johnson Tubbs. She attended Madison County Schools. She had worked at a couple of factories in Blytheville, AR and worked at the hospital and in a grocery store. She had made her home with J.W. Thurmond for 34 years in Jackson, Huntersville Community and Chester County Plainview Community the last 13 years.
She is survived by J.W. Thurmond; a son, David Lee Thurmond of Henderson, three daughters, Angie Tipton, Eugenia McDonald and Nancy McDonald and five brothers, Joe Neal Tubbs of Van Cover, Washington, Larry Tubbs of Blytheville, AR, Jerry Tubbs of Jackson, Roger Dale Tubbs of Jackson and Connie Ray Tubbs of Finger and two sisters, Barbara Ann George of Blytheville, AR and Brenda Faye Pieper of GA.
