departed this life on November 22, 2012, at the age of 89 years, 2 months, 30 days.
Carolyn was born on August 23, 1923, to James Maer and Carolyn Elizabeth Green Frederick, who preceded her in death. She married John W. Fullwood on December 13, 1941, who preceded her in death on April 9, 1990.
She retired from the Hardin Medical Center, as payroll clerk. Before moving to Savannah, Tennessee, she lived in Montgomery, Alabama, and West Shiloh, Tennessee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Savannah, member of Eastern Star and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.
Carolyn is survived by a son, William F. (Bill) Fullwood and a daughter, Kaye Elizabeth Hill, both of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, John, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lester M. Frederick.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Gideons International.
