Carolyn Sue Breazeal, June 10, 1935 - September 26, 2023

She had a vibrancy that you could not help but notice upon meeting.  She was quick to smile and laugh,  and poke fun at the absurdities of life.  She was also determined and pragmatic, especially when dealing with the rough patches that came her way, yet her "life goes on" attitude always prevailed.

Carolyn was a business teacher in the Memphis Tennessee school system for 30 plus years, after having graduated from Arkansas A&M in Monticello.  She had a passion for education and influenced her students to excel in any walk of life to which they endeavored.  She went above and beyond the classroom and encouraged all to expand their curriculum through the many organizations she spearheaded.  Mrs. Breazeal made it fun to be involved.

She loved travelling and golf, but also loved just sitting on her porch watching the Tennessee River march on - with an occasional shout out, "Saw it first", as the barges rounded the bend of the river.

Carolyn Sue Crawley was born in Wilmot, Arkansas June 10, 1935 and peacefully passed the evening of September 26, 2023 in her home by the river in Clifton, Tennessee, where she shared her life with her husband of 19 years, Joe Warrington.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Velma Crawley of Wilmot, her sisters, Perrine Vail and Earlene Jackson, and her late husband Dr. James W Breazeal.
Carloyn Sue is survived by her only son, Max S Breazeal and wife, Kathleen, grandchildren, Stewart Breazeal and wife Mckena,  Along with her bonus grandchild, Jeanne Whitesides.  Carolyn's loving siblings, Jenny Washam, Avis Harrelson, Robert Crawley, Elizabeth Sharp, and Alex Crawley.  In laws, Spencer and Ina Breazeal, Wanda Breazeal Brown and a myriad of nieces and nephews.
All will miss her smile and joy for life.
