Carolyn F. Austin

Carolyn was born in Memphis Tennessee daughter of Ida Totty of Collierville Tennessee and the late D.A. Totty. She grew up in Memphis and moved to Chester County where she graduated from Chester County High School in 1959.She later attended Freed Hardeman College and was married to Tony Austin in 1961. They had made their home in Nashville since 1966. Carolyn was an administrative assistant for the Musicians Union Local 257 AFM and also a member. She was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoyed helping several area organizations with whatever their needs were such as baking, cooking, and sewing.



Survivors are her husband Tony, of Nashville, sons Mark (Nashville) Scott (serving his country in Iraq) Steve (Ft. Knox KY). A sister Christine Coble (Searcy AR) Brothers Doug and Bud Totty (Memphis) Grandchildren Tyler Scott, and Coltin Andrew and mother in law Odessa Austin (Henderson, TN)
