Mrs. Kee died Thursday at Jackson General Hospital.
The wife of John L. Kee, who survives, she was a secretary at Western Mental Health Institute, having just completed her 30th year of employment. She was born to Vernon R. and Marion Denton Nuckolls of Bolivar and lived all of her life in Bolivar. She was active in the Business and Professional Women's Club and also helped with the seating during the local "Hee Haw" performances. Carol loved sports and her grandkids and was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on May 30, 1986 and her parents, survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, Bobby (Elizabeth) Hensley of Hickory Valley and Ronnie Hensley of Bolivar; two stepsons, Chris Kee of Memphis and Jason Kee of Williston; a sister and brother in law, Becky (Nubbin) Ross of Toone; two brothers and a sister in law, Mike Nuckolls, Jim (Leah) Nuckolls, all of Bolivar; three grandchildren, Carson Hensley of Hickory Valley, Case' and Lainey Hensley, both of Hornsby; and her mother in law, Velma Kee of Somerville. She was preceded in death by a son, Colt Kee on December 30, 2006.
