Carmel Brewer

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors , Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones and Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery , Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Mr. Carmel (Shad) Brewer departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2009 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 3 Months, 12 Days. He was born February 26, 1932 in the North Section of Wayne County, Tennessee the son of the late Tom and Ada Gobbell Brewer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by ; son, Nathan Brewer; brothers, John Brewer, Tom Brewer Jr., Lewis Brewer; sisters, Clovie Staggs, and Opal Davis; and infant brothers and sisters.



Mr. Shad Brewer was Owner and Operated of Restaurant and in his latter years was a Correction officer with the Wayne County Boot Camp . He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee and was a member of the Waynesboro Masonic Lodge for 50 years.



He is survived by ; sons, Carmel Dwain Brewer and Terry Brewer both of Waynesboro, TN;

daughter, Sharon (Brewer) Dabbs of Columbia, TN;



close companion for 15 years Pat Cromwell of Waynesboro,TN



grandchildren; Trina Minatra; Timothy Brewer; Kimberly Davvs; Brandy Carroll; Bethany Brewer and Emily Brewer



great grandchildren; Keith Minatra; Amanda Minatra; Kayla Minatra; Bryson Jones; Brinley Gillam; Kelsey Carroll; Kaybree Carroll and Jayanna Kelley
