Carlton Cody

Carlton Cody was born August 29, 1940 in Montour Falls, New York, the son of Irene Van Valkner Barrett and the late LaVerne Cody.He was united in marriage to Patsy Love Cody who preceded him in death on August 3, 1997.Mr. Cody was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy where he proudly served for over 34 years. Mr. Cody departed this life on September 6, 2006 in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 66 Years, 8 Days. He is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Barnaal of Fort Myers, Florida, Debbie Harville of Glen, Mississippi, Dawn Roland of Rienzi, Mississippi and Amy Hood of Pocahontas, Tennessee; two step-daughters, Connie Heflin of Henderson, Tennessee and Michelle Yelton of Edmond, Oklahoma; mother, Irene Van Valkner Barrett of North Fort Myers, Florida; and one brother, Richard Cody of New York.In addition to his father and wife, Mr. Cody was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Cody and Chester Cody.
