Carlos G. Pounds

Carlos G. Pounds was born January 8, 1943 in Hayti, Missouri the son of the late Arlis G. and Lessie Lain Pounds.Mr. Pounds was a life insurance agent for over 35 years. He was a member of the Mount Sharon Presbyterian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and he faithfully attended the Rowe Chapel Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas. He loved spending time with his grandkids and enjoyed hunting and fishing.Mr. Pounds departed this life on March 3, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 1 Month, 24 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Laura Flannigan and husband Tim of Monette, AR; two sons, Robert Pounds and wife Lina of Anchorage, AK, and Cory Pounds and wife Sherry of Manila, AR; a sister, Regenia Smith and husband David of Adamsville, TN; a special friend, Pat Meacham of Gosnell, AR; nine grandchildren, Richard Todd Pounds of Jonesboro, AR, Robe Lyn Pounds and John Robert Pounds both of Anchorage, AK, Shane Flannigan of Charleston, SC, Chelsea Flannigan of Birmingham, AL, Corie Flannigan of Monette, AR, Hannah Pounds and Bailey Pounds both of Gosnell, AR, and Madison Brodie of Manila, AR.In addition to his parents, Mr. Pounds was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Gail Pounds; two brothers, Don Pounds, and Winston Pounds.
