CARLA PARKS TENNISON
was born January 27, 1974, in Jackson, Tennessee to James Clifft Parks, who preceded her in death, and Carlene (Talley) Parks Lake.
She married Kerry DeWayne Tennison on November 18, 1995.
Carla worked for the Hardin County Board of Education at Pickwick Southside School as an Art and Music teacher for grades kindergarten thru eighth grade.
She was a Charter Member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as their pianist. Carla later joined Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Iuka, Mississippi, where she served there as a Bible worker and was actively involved in the Youth Program.
Carla was a very loving mother and she also loved her school kids. She enjoyed scrap booking.
Carla departed this life on Monday, November 12, 2012, at the age of 38 years, 9 months and 16 days.
She is survived by her husband Kerry Tennison of Counce, Tennessee and daughters, Katie Beth, Caroline, Claire and Emma Katherine, all of Counce, Tennessee. She is also survived by her mother, Carlene "Ma" Lake.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Genelle Talley and Armand and Edna Parks.
