Carl Joe Matlock

CARL JOE MATLOCKwas born in McNairy County, Tennessee on January 18, 1943 the son of the late Reeder Columbus and Floy Lee Jones Matlock.On June 4, 1965 he was united in marriage to the former Janice Paulette Spiller, who survives. Mr. Matlock had worked at Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the Church on the Rock. He departed this life on March 19, 2007 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 64 years, 2 months and 1 day.Mr. Matlock is survived by his wife, Janice Matlock of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Kelly Cole and a son, Kenneth Matlock, both of Savannah, Tennessee; three sisters: Oma Jean Ratliff of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Lou Jane Essary of Savannah, Tennessee and Martha Rinks of Crump, Tennessee; and three brothers: J.D. Matlock of Savannah, Tennessee, Jerry Wayne Matlock of Selmer, Tennessee and Charles Ray Matlock of Milledgeville, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lovie Dedrick and two brothers: R. C. Matlock and E.G. Matlock.
