Services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro Tennessee, with Ronnie Gobbell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Mr. Inman departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2009 at his residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 5 Months, 6 Days. A native of Perry County, he was born September 10, 1929 in Linden, Tennessee the son of the late Laz and Ethel Sharp Inman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Inman was preceded in death by ;two brothers, Herman Inman and Joe Inman ; sister, Opal Tatum; and great-granddaughter, Tayler Floyd;



Mr. Inman was a farmer and retired from the cutting department of Genesco after 43 years.



He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Brewer) Inman of Waynesboro, TN; son, Roger Inman and wife Diane of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Melba (Inman) Holt and huband James "Sonny" of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren; Shay Inman (Natalie) Nashville, TN; Jared Inman (Tiffany) Chattanooga, TN; Eric Inman, Chattanooga; Melanie Holt Floyd (John) Linden, TN and Jaime Holt LaBombard (Kenneth) Waynesboro, TN; great grandchildren; Reagen Floyd; Maggie and Tayleigh LaBombard ; sisters, Dean Tubbs Cantrell of Florence, AL and Cleo Harris of Linden, TN;
