Carl Ozie Hill was born May 14, 1930 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of John Calvin and Honor Mae Melton Hill.
On November 28, 1991, he was united in marriage to the former Virginia Perkins who survives.
He was retired as the owner of Hill's Used Cars and Hill's Barber Shop. He was a member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church in Finger, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean War and was also a member of the American Legion Post 90.
Mr. Hill departed this life on August, 7 2005 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days.
Other than his wife, Virginia Hill of Adamsville, Mr. Hill is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Mayfield of Michie, Tennessee.
Six sons, Carl Richard Hill of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Jimmy Hill of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; Jerry Hill of Somerville, Tennessee; Terry Lynn Hill of Medon, Tennessee; Charles Michael (Tom) Hill of Bolivar, Tennessee and Gary Michael Hill of Adamsville.
Stepdaughter, Tracy Helwig of Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Two stepsons, Jimmy Hampton of Bartlett, Tennessee and Robert Anthony Bauer of Ham Lake, Minnesota.
Twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Five sisters, Maggie Floyd of Memphis; Mildred Pyron of Selmer, Callie Lipford, Birdie Black and Allie Wagoner all of Adamsville.
Other than his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Earl Hill.
