The son of the late Issac and Inez Hodge Connor. He served three years with the U.S. Army during WWII, in the European Theatre of Operations. He was married to Marie Johnson in 1946. He farmed most of his life and worked for E.L. Morgan in Jackson for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Marie Connor; four sons Jimmy Connor, Bobby Connor Lynn Connor and Jason Connor all of Henderson; four sisters Nellie Rouse of Henderson, Wilma AdCox of Jackson, Mary Dell Gilchrist and Shirley Harvey of Henderson; five brothers Melburn Connor, Carroll Connor both of Henderson, Issac Connor, Jr. and Paul Connor both of Nashville and Pat Connor of Henderson; grandchildren Terry Connor, Toby Connor, April Connor, Ty Connor, Kyle Connor, Meagan Connor and Dustin Connor; two step grandchildren Kayla and Tyler Latch; great grandchildren Coady Connor, Allison Connor and Haley Connor.
