Mr. Fitzgerald died early Friday morning, 8/31, at The Med in Memphis.
The son of the late Raymond Monroe and Betty Ellen Wilson Fitzgerald, he was born in Haywood county and lived most of his life there. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and served in the US Army in Germany.
He leaves four sisters, Frances Elizabeth Fisher of Altus, OK, Helen Davis of Brownsville, Clarice Lewis of Ripley, TN and Melba Brown of Bolivar; his brother-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
