He was born in Chester County, the son of the late Walter and Mary Yearwood Beene. He attended school in the Harmony Community of Chester County. He was married to Georgia Walker in 1939. They made their home in Chester County. He was a member of the Finger Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Georgia Beene of Henderson; two daughters Judy Clayton and Anita McCorkle (Jerry) all of Henderson; a son Kennie Beene (Judy) of Henderson; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Onnie Houska of Bethel Springs, Sue Burgund of Henderson and Georgia Rameriz of Henderson; 3 brothers Curtis Beene and Jere Beene both of Henderson and Jimmy Beene of Bethel Springs.
