Burnice E. McClain

Burnice E. (Cookie) McClain was born February 7, 1940 in New Albany, Mississippi the son of the late Lewis Atlas and Ader Adel Turner McClain.He was united in marriage to LaVerne Null on March 10, 1964 and married for 43 years.Mr. McClain was Retired from Dana Corporation as a Machine Operator, member of the Guys Christian Church and the International Association of Machinist. He enjoyed gardening and was a gun smith.Mr. McClain departed this life on August 24, 2007 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.He is survived by his wife, LaVaerne; four children, Pamela Isom and husband Mel of Winnemucca, Nevada, Jeffery McClain and wife Sheila of Ramer, Tennessee, Stacey McClain and companion, Telleah Martin of Selmer, Tennessee and Donna Fowler and husband Shawn of Eastview, Tennessee; four sisters, Maurdell Comer and husband George of Guys, Tennessee, Nancy Null and husband Sam of Eastview, Tennessee, Joyce Bulter and husband Jerry of Theo, Mississippi and Mae Jourdan of Saltillo, Mississippi; a brother, Benny McClain and wife Katie of Eastview, Tennesse; 9 Grandchildren, Whitney Johnson, Shayne, Kara-lea and Natalie Fowler, Jesse, Jenna and Jayda McClain, Elyse Martin and David Isom. In addition to his parents, Mr. McClain is preceded in death by his In-laws, Charlie and Ludie Null; four brothers, Archie, Junior, Jimmy and Tony McClain.
