Buddy Wayne Russell

Services for Buddy Wayne Russell, age 46, of Waynesboro, TN will be Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 3:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Tim Owen and Paul Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Prater's Chapel Cemetery in Clifton, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Justin Russell, John Nelson, Adrian Bryant, Irvin Jones, Kenny Reeves, and Marty Frazier. Visitation will be Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.



Mr. Russell died at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN after an extended illness. A native of Humbolt, TN, he was a disabled laborer and was preceded in death by a son, Kaleb Russell, a sister, Donna Brown, his grandmother, Gertie Edwards, his uncle, Junior Balentine, his father-in-law, Doc Boyd, and a sister-in-law, Joyce Frazier.



Survivors, wife, Rita Boyd Russell; son, Christopher (Chris) Russell; daughter, Kayla Elaine Russell; grandchildren, Kayonna and Tyler Russell; mother, Yvonne Rumbaugh, all of Waynesboro, TN; father, Gerald Wayne (Buddy) Russell, Humbolt, TN; sisters, Tammy Burns, Westpoint, TN, April Holloway, Florence, AL; brothers, Keith Russell, Waynesboro, TN, Jeffery (Pete) Russell, Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.
