Buddy Allan Griggs of Waynesboro, TN was born July 4, 1976 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the son of George Griggs, Jr. and Cordy Lorene Staggs Griggs. Mr. Griggs worker as a roofer. Mr. Griggs was found dead on Friday, May 14, 2010 near Buttermilk Ridge Road in Wayne County, Tennessee at the age of 33 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days.He is survived by a daughter, Abrehonna Rochell Griggs; a son, Chanston Michael Allan Griggs both of Waynesboro, TN; mother, Lorene Staggs Griggs, Waynesboro, TN; father, George Griggs, Jr., Collinwood, TN; two brothers, Richard Lee Griggs and wife, Jennifer and James Junior Griggs; half-brother, George Delo Griggs all of Waynesboro, TN; step-sisters, Rosia Lee, Brandy Michell, and Crystal Kay Vaughn all of Collinwood, TN; nephews, Darrion James, Jayden Lee, and Devyn Chandler Griggs. Services will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Valentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2010 from 10:30 am to service time at the funeral home.
