Bruce E. Murray of Bethel Springs, TN was born December 21, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late William Virgil and Mary Lessie Henson Murray.
Mr. Murray enjoyed playing and listening to bluegrass music. He was a member of Purdy Presbyterian Church. He departed this life on May 4, 2019 in his home at the age of 80 Years, 4 Months, 13 Days.
He is survived by his wife Betty L. (Combs) Murray of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Bruce Deon Murray; three grandchildren, Luke Webster, Mollie Cima, Tillie Cima; a sister, Pauline Walker; two brothers, Larry Murray and wife Janice, John Ross Murray and wife Lola; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Murray was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Plunk, Mary Bess Tate; four brothers, Gary Wayne Murray, O'neal Murray, Gordon Murray, Will Tom Murray.
Memorials may be made to the McNairy County Humane Society, C/O Tina Churchwell, P. O. Box 1083, Selmer, TN 38375.
