Brooke Lauren Pope

Brooke Lauren Pope was born June 8, 1987 in Jackson, Tennessee the daughter of Mark and Rowena Brooks Pope. Brooke was a graduate of McNairy Central High School in Selmer, and was a junior at Blue Mountain College, where she was studying elementary education. She was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, and was active in the Modenian Society at Blue Mountain College. In her spare time, Brooke loved to read. Brooke departed this life on June 16, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 20 Years, 8 Days. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Rowena Pope; a brother, Daniel Mark Pope; paternal grandparents Buddy and Mary Ann Pope; maternal grandmother Birtie Joyce Brooks; uncle Anthony Brooks and wife Charlotte; and aunt Pam West, all of Selmer, Tennessee. Brooke was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, J. W. Brooks, and an uncle, Matt Pope.
