Brenda Qualls Spears was born on January 1, 1948 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bob and Clara Brewington Qualls.
On August 16, 1969, she was united in marriage to her best friend and the love of her life, Larry Spears, who survives.
Brenda worked for the Hardin County Highway Department as a secretary. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Brenda loved going fishing, traveling, watching hummingbirds, all kinds of animals, and going to car shows. She was also well known for her delicious chocolate pies. Brenda loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to help people and would help anyone in anyway she could. She loved her family and friends dearly and most of all, she loved the Lord. Brenda will forever be known as a prayer warrior to all.
Brenda Qualls Spears departed this life on August 30, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 29 days.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Spears of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Tommy Spears of Savannah, Tennessee and Rance Spears and his wife Vickie of Savannah, Tennessee; honorary daughters, Angie Reynolds and Katrina Phillips; niece, Tammy Qualls; nephew, Dean Qualls; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Spears; and a host of bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Qualls and her favorite aunt, Amogene Brewington.
