Henderson: Brenda Sue Pusser Smith, age 60, died Tuesday December 14, 2010 at the Med in Memphis.
Mrs. Smith was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Willie Richard and I. C. Rainey Pusser. She attended Chester County schools and married James H. Smith in the late 60’s. She made her home in Finger and worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. and I Appeal Corporation. She later moved to Henderson and had worked at Chester County Healthcare the past 18 years.
She is survived by her husband James Hulon Smith of Finger, a daughter Amanda Boggs and husband David of Henderson and a son James Anthony (Tony) Smith and wife Peggy of Bethel Springs. She has 4 grandchildren: Brandi Michelle and Anthony Craig Smith and Alexis Michelle and Dylon Eugene Boggs.
She has two brothers; James C. Pusser of Beech Bluff and Richard Michael Pusser of Henderson and two sisters Vera Whittimore of Columbia and Pamela Ayers of Jacks Creek. She was preceded in death by a brother Harold Pusser and three sisters Patsy Pusser, Lena Hopper, and Virginia Austin.
