Mrs. Brenda Sinclair Sims, age 72 of Bartlett, Tennessee, formerly of Bolivar, Tennessee, departed this life Friday morning, June 22, 2018 at her home.
A native of Hardeman County, Mrs. Sims was born Saturday, January 19, 1946 to the late George Lawrence and Mary Elsie Bohanon Sinclair. She graduated with the Class of 1964 from Bolivar Central High School and moved to Shelby County when she was 18. She was united in marriage to Mr. William Sims, who survives.
Prior to retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant and was a Senior Executive Secretary at Terminal Freight in Memphis for 15 years. She was Baptist in faith and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved horses and enjoyed traveling.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband, William Breur Sims of Bartlett; daughter, Kristi Butler of Bartlett; son, Stephen Craig White (Tami) of Fayetteville, TN; sister, Ann Robinson of Jackson; brother, George Sinclair (Cheri) of Jackson; grandchildren, Kenny Harding, Raegan Crossett and Tucker White; and one great-grandchild, Averie Blayne Harding.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bo White, who passed away earlier this year.
