Rev. Brenda Scott

Rev. Brenda Faye Smith Scott was born on October 7, 1947 in Steele, Missouri the daughter of the late James Willie and Lena Lain Smith.

On January 9, 1965 she was united in marriage to Iland Dee Scott, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2022.

Brenda was a retired licensed Minister of 37 years for the United Pentecostal Church International. She was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church. Brenda loved Genealogy (research family history), and studying the Bible, and spending time with her family. 

Brenda departed this life on March 6, 2023 in Medina, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 27 days. 

She is survived by her son, David Scott and wife Leslie of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, Billy Smith; grandchildren, Macy Isabel Scott and David Solomon Scott, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents,  Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Renee Scott; brothers, Maynard Smith, Pete Smith, Jackie Smith, and Gary Smith; sisters, Avanell Grant, Elbertine Smith, and Kay Young.
