Brenda Kay Rainey
was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on February 6, 1953 the daughter of the late George Cletus and Vadie Mae Jimes Moore.
Brenda worked as a CNA for 10 years at Humboldt Nursing Home. She also had worked at Christie's Restaurant in Savannah. Brenda was a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church. She loved going to yard sales, family gatherings and to cook.
Brenda departed this life on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 25 days.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Rainey and Rusty Murphy of Corinth, Mississippi and David Rainey of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler Rainey, Katilyn Rainey, Isiah Evans, Joshua Rainey, Isaac Evans, Jeremiah Gilmer, Emma Rainey, Elise Rainey, Irene Rainey, Hunter Rainey, and Jordan Rainey; great grandchildren, Lillianna Glisson, Brantley Rainey, and Easton Glisson; sisters, Ann Williams of Savannah, Tennessee, Emily King of Hanover, Indiana, Doris Williams of Savannah, Tennessee, and Rachel Hall of Florida; brothers, Raymond Moore of Savannah, Tennessee and Jimmy Moore of Humboldt, Tennessee; and a special friend, Jerry Pitts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Rainey, two sisters, Pat Newell and Marilyn Tosh, and one brother, Larry Moore.
